I also talked to day with a dude who plays bass for the beach boys. he asked to hear the Great Destroyer, and he was ROFLing in the best possible way. it was like a rhythmic farting fuzz ws releasing all his endorphins.
Can we has more pics of mystery guitar?

I can't even begin to explain how badly I want to hump this guitar. If it's the noise maker I think it's going to be... noisegasm.

Definitely anxious for a demo of the lovebuzz, my Sovtek is shaking in it's boots. Dosvedanya comrade.

Yar, what I'm looking for is an amp that has all the piss and vinegar of my mig 60, but cleans up slightly better than a tranny prostitute at a debutant ball.

and had a one-off prototype with a built in oscillator (basically one-half of the Rot Yr Brain) pedal.

50's yes, 60's not so much. In my experience, they start hairing up with the pre on 3.

more like 1.5.

Mig 50's are bassman copies. Mig 60's are JCM 800's on PCP.

Hey, by the way...
Have you tried experimenting with the preamp tubes to get a bit more clean out of the 60?
I've had not bad results with replacing the 12AX7 in V3 (or is that V1? I forget the order... Anyway, the inverter.) for a 12AU7.

Not that this should appease your lust for the LoveBuzz in any way, of course.

I had thought about it, and have actually heard about some really good results in clean headroom. The whole thing is probably so for a retubing anyway. It's all original from the 90's. But honestly with the lovebuzz on the horizon I'm not sure how much I'm willing to invest into it knowing that I may be selling it in a few months.

Yeah, wouldn't make much sense to shell out some big bucks on a full re-tubing. Still, if you keep your eye out for old busted tube radios and record players, you could bag yourself a few 12AU7 for mega cheap. Could be worth a shot, at least in the interim...

Oh yeah... And if you do end up wanting to sell the Mig, let me know, I might just be willing to take it off your hands. :)
