It's really a great guitar. The hollow structure makes it sound more organic. The stock pickups are not as good though so I had them replaced. It's got the traditional jaguar jangle but a little fatter due to the semi-hollowness of the body. Then the series mode makes it a lot angrier. it's good when you have to do a heavy solo but don't want to change pedal settings.

I would recommend it, it came ready done one mine (Gavin's guitar originally so he had it done) and I've never actually really looked into it but you don't lose any options do you? And yeah, makes for a nice volume boost without resorting to pedals.

I had to give up the mid-cut switch for it. It's ok since I've always found it useless. But I still keep that for my other jags.

it’s not a mod for jag purists. but a good mod for those who would want to have a bucker sound while keeping the "jaguarness " at the same time.

They all get played occasionaly.... some more than others, with the exception of the NIC examples.

Yea Fran, it's a JBJR, it came with no pickups. Gonna be getting a proper set from somewhere soon. I noticed "The Creamery" is in Manchester but have have no experience with their pickups.
