Took a couple photos of my Jaguar after fitting a new pickup claw finally on the bridge pup.
Strung it up with tens and removed a shim outta the neck pocket to. Seemed to make the action very stiff around the first few frets. Also, shimmed the outta two E saddles with a cut up Mountain Dew can

Bought and sold a few guitars lately so I thought I'd take some new pics.

Hi,
After my blue sparkle Super-Sonic was damaged during a gig and could not be restored in a proper way, I decided to have the guitar refinished in Daphne blue and added some pearl plates to it.
Here are the results :

Love the Super Sonic! A blue sparkle Super Sonic was actually my first guitar, and I miss it dearly. They are great guitars!

I know it's not a short scale, but since I've seen several other Jazzmasters featured in the thread, I figured I would show mine off too. Its a CIJ 62' reissue in Lake Placid Blue.

Disgusting? That was uncalled for, 'dude.' However, if I have unknowingly broken some forum rule, would the mod please move the post to the appropriate thread. And FYI, you don't need to hyphenate 'non short scale.'

You have to take what people say here with a large pinch of salt - he had his tongue firmly in cheek on that comment.

Using correct grammar? I'm on your side with that.

Maybe not on your side of the Atlantic, but as an English English speaker and son of two English teachers, I would.

so.. looks like I never posted this.

Image

picked it up in the spring.
wanting to replace the P-bass pup with a WRHB from the pawnshop mustang or tele bass..
i've already got another guard for it, body will need a little bit of a route, but nothing insane.

the other option is to put a mudbucker (Gibson EB) pickup in.. but that may need to go a bit closer to the neck then i'd like..

(edit) turns out i had, but in the New Breed thread.. but no one ever looks there.
