Maybe not on your side of the Atlantic, but as an English English speaker and son of two English teachers, I would.
I would as well, and I'm also an English teacher.

I apologize if I came off too serious. I received a friendly PM explaining the forum culture here at short scale, and I'm all for sarcasm and tongue and cheek humor, so no offense taken.

I say, old chap, that is rather nice!

Welcome aboard, by the way.
Thanks for the welcome, Nick! I appreciate the kind words. It's my first short scale guitar, but it definitely won't be my last!

I forgot to post my guitar, this is my only short scale, a CIJ Jaguar. It's not my favourite, but it's the first nice guitar I bought. I need to change the pickups and fix the trem system, and hopefully I'll become inspired playing it.

Gorgeous family photo.
I count 8 guitars but 9 headstocks. Who is hiding in the back?

Channeling teh kurdtz for a grunge machine or something. Cut an old Allparts pickguard I had, made for MIJ/CIJ, to fit a Squier VM body as best as I could. Put a (half spray painted) humbucker in the bridge. I like the look enough that I might order a pickguard that'll actually fit and a real zebra 'bucker.

My first shortscale. Inca Silver Jag. Insanely heavy for some reason, but still loved it. Had to sell it sadly, but I've got a mustang on the way now :P

Life's too short for heavy guitars though. Plus Mustangs > Jags

Not sure I've seen an Inca Silver Jag, it's beautiful.

They did a limited run of thin skin ones with matching headstocks which were pretty cool too. Honestly though, silver ain't my colour, so I was glad to sell it on to someone who could appreciate it more.
