I was at Doogfest.
I'll be getting on it shortly, but I also have Hurb's Tone Machine to add a boost output stage to, and Doog's Saltbooster to add a tone control to, which take precedent. As does ProgRock's tone bender and Mezz's Green ringer.
I'll take some photos of the silver box tomorrow though.

OK still waiting on trannys for Tonebender and Fuzz Factory but they;ve been posted so they'll be here soon.
Other progress:
Klon has been lacquererd.
Green Ringer case is cured. I'm building it tonight and hopefully mailing it tomorrow to Mezz.
I'm going to fix the problems I've found with the Klon tonight and hopefully get it working.
If both of those go smoothly I'll make a stripboard layout for the tonebender and Fuzz Factory and make some boards for them.

That green ringer looks sexy as hell!
Any chance of a demo before you send it off?

Cheers man, it's up to Mezz really since it's his. it's too late tonight, but I guess I could do it tomorrow night after playing footie if he doesn't mind me sending it on Friday instead?

I totally forgot about this thread for ages...
Mike made me the orange bass fuzz, got it a couple of weeks ago.
I haven't even tried it yet with my bass, I've just been playing guitar with it. It sounds FUCKING INCREDIBLE, and is probably one of the most versatile fuzz's I've played. I'm reluctant to plug my bass into it, because I have a lot of studying to do for my professional license exam in September. The pedal's awesomeness just might end up being the perfect reason to fall behind in my studying.
I'm not completely set up to record a demo right now, but once that situation is rectified I'll be making one for this pedal.
This thing rawks, thanks Mike! You will be getting repeat business from me for sure!

OK stuff to do:
1. Post Doog, Hurb and Mezz's pedals tomorrow
2. Drill cases for Tonebender (Rob - silver, battery, lowpower design) and Green Big Muff (stewart - Green with Green LED)
3. Try Klon again after finding missing cut track and fixing that
4. Build Fuzz Factory when I get the transistors (JD and finboy interested)
5. Build another Green Big Muff for ebay

3. Try Klon again after finding missing cut track and fixing that - Klon now makes overdrive!
4. Build Green Big Muff from my layout - Green Big Muff circuit for stewart made on stripboard.
5. Design layout for and build tonebender
6. Build Fuzz Factory when I get the transistors (JD and finboy interested)
7. Build another Green Big Muff for ebay
Did some work today.

Mike, the Salt Booster MkII arrived a minute ago, sounds great! It can totally match my distorted or clean tone with the tone at about 9/10 o'clock, but with a slight bit of grit when you dig in, regardless of the output- TOP FUCKIN' HORN, MATE.
Can also get some Woman/Doogtone with the tone rolled back, would probably work great that way in front of the distortion.. and of coure, a bit more spike with the tone rolled up.
Thanks so much for doing this for me dude, really appreciate it, I feel a lot better having something chunky on the pedalboard versus the somewhat flimsy Nobels.
Livesley Electronics - 11 out of 10 for customer service.
Off to 'Horses practise now, will rock it through the Marshall when I get home

YES.
Awesome. I'm so glad I got it into something a bit more usable for your needs mate. I'm all about people actually using this stuff on their boards, it make me so chuffed.
Cracking.
Hopefully Hurb should have got his MAX POWER Fuzz today also.

OK.
I will never build another fucking Klon. Fair play to the guy it's a good sounding pedal and it's an original design but FUCK ME this circuit is beyond my comprehension which made debug very difficult. Plus when you're dealing with a dual gang gain pot that's 6 wires you could have fucked up, not 3. God Damn it.
Anyway, the schematic wasn't all that clear but teh gain pots are actually upside down to how they're normally detailed on a schematic. I missed a little arrow that told me as much. Motherfucker.
Anyway. It fucking works. When my eyeballs and head don't pound I'll build it into it's case and flog it. It will be a one off thing.
I'll make a demo and that also.
I built this last night, it's Stewart's Green Big Muff, case gets drilled later today at my follks.
Today I got the Klon working and wired it's connections hardwire and did this:
Rob's Coloursound 2-knob Tone Bender - waiting on trannies - case gets drilled later today at my folks
A Fuzz Factory, for JD or Finboy or whoever.
