They're getting way hot these days. I bought two T shirts from Hunter S Thompson's Estate for £30 and had to pay £30 in taxes and charges. Ridiculous.

Tomorrow marks the 3 week point and not a peep.

I'm not like YOU SHOULD HAVE SHIPPED THEM FASTER. Just wondering how much longer I can expect to wait.
Im in the U.S. and i havent even recieved mine yet, it was such an amazing deal so i can wait as long as it takes.

It's gonna be at least another three weeks while they shift the backlog after the strikes. I'm getting really nervous about getting hit by customs. I literally cannot afford it if I get more than like £40 customs.

Based on value and my experience i doubt we'll get hit for over £25.

guitars are still on east coast. I have a call in to USPS to find out if there is an issue and if it is on my side of the pond, due to the postage strike over there, or WTF is going on.

I got a PM from Mike this morning about the Duos and I thought I would share the response so everyone knows what's going on.
First off...Fuck USPS. I will never ship a guitar with neck attached across the pond again. Shipping these has been a huge problem/hassle that would have been easier had I taken necks off and reboxed (and wuite a bit cheaper as well)... But I wanted everyone to get theirs new/in box. That way if anyonw wnated to sell/flip right away, they could sell them as new/in box.

Anyways, Mike asked " any news on the duos", and I replied to him

" $6.72

They guitars got picked up here a month ago and shipped out to the east coast. There they were scanned and apparently the shipping charges were $.96 short on each one. (never mind that it had to get scanned at the main post office out here, that i had gotten several differnet quotes on the shipping charges, and that they turned me away at the PO one time for the packages being too long....) So I called last week and they just told me they were still in transit from the East coast and getting ready to ship to UK. I got a letter from the PO Tuesday that the shipping charges were incorrect and needed to be paid prior to shipping. I called them yesterday with my CC and paid the additional 6.72. What I don't get is that I used a postal account to arrange the shipping so they have email and phone number for contact purposes but they send me a letter/bill via snail mail.

When all is said and done, I am going to try and call the PO to complain and see if I can get any of theshipping money back given the trouble this has been to get these shipped.

I will call tommorrow to verify that the payment has processed OK and get some sort estimated arrival date. "

I apologize for any inconvenience to all involved in the process. Also, to calrify ahead of time. If people want to flip these for $ or whatever I don't give a rats ass so everyone go ahead and do what you want with them. As said, I will check with the PO tommorrow to get some sort of estimated delivery time, and post it here. After that, I am done with these damned things unless any end up not turning up....

I would do the same thing again in a heartbeat, but would ship UPS with the guitars broken down, not intact. USPS can suck my dick.

Did you get confirmation they were unblocked and ready to cross the pond?

Still nothing over here I'm afraid... any tracking update?
