I'm already saving my pennies for the Jazzmaster, but if I can could up with the extra change, or didn't already have 2 shortscales, I'd happily pick one up.

I quite like the silver and black, but there's nothing I'll get out of this jag that my M-80 doesn't already give me.

I'd buy one if I were making E6 munay.

As is, I think I'll have to just stick with the Classic Player HH

Is that an insult on me or my M-80, because we'll both kick your ass.

If you want a new look, change your guitar. You will always sound like you. This is no insult or something else. Only a good old opinion.

Sadly yes. But the m-80 still has plenty of mojo powers.

I certainly hope I don't always sound like me... I suck. Thus the year and a half of lessons I've been attending. ;)

I'd just get a black one then crudely spraypaint dark blue over it.

What had me riled up earlier was that no posts provided any kind of valid criticism of them other than I DONT LIKE HOW THEY LOOK SO THEY FUCKING SUCK WTF FENDER!

Personally, I would rather they put the trem tailpiece in with the fixed bridge for aesthetic purposes but I love the fact that they dropped the rhythm circuit.
I don't think I commented on the look of the guitar in my opinions... I primarily commented on the hardware features in voicing my opinion. We happen to disagree on the loss of the rhythm circuit, and that's what had you riled against my thoughts.

I noticed that neither body is routed for the rhythm circuit so they are not using CP bodies on these.

ReliableFender on ebay is parting out a Blacktop Jazzmaster and a Blacktop Jaguar. The necks look pretty nice actually.
