I think it's a USA Jag but I'm not sure, could be Mexico?

i haven't seen any mention anywhere about the country of origin. I know its being reviewed this month in the guitar mags so I might take a look. I was hoping that they would have one in at PMT when I popped in yesterday but no joy.

I think the first batch seem to arrive in December but a lot of those are taken. Soundslive have two ordered which can be reserved if you're willing to drop £50 Deposit.
After the first batch the next set are in the new year.

I'm certain its made in Mexico. I'm sure I read that in this month's Total Guitar which has a feature all about it.

That makes more sense pricewise, and because it's relic'd and all that. There's some nice photos here:

They are Mexican, and I've heard that they'll be a production run and not limited. Not sure how true that is, but can't image the production run would last that long on them.

How unfortunate that Mike's account seems to have been hacked for the second time in two days. This can be the only explanation.

I don't know why anyone would buy one of these when with a little patience they could keep thier eyes peeled and get a vintage one for around the same price. Awful pricey for a Mexican guitar. I'll def be trying it when I get the chance tho so maybe my opinion will change...

Actually, it's not that much more than a CP.

But... but... but... You had a CP and sold it.
Michael, this madness must stop (or you must buy a nicer guitar, whichever).

But the CP didn't have teh Kurdtz.

Or non-Kluson tuners and a small headstock.

Or Dimarzio humbuckers and hilarious aging

So, what is the attraction to these things again? I'm not seeing it. The bound neck is pretty but that headstock ruins that. Getting a CP and throwing it at an amp for a while seems like it would get you pretty close.

I dunno, but I was such a Nirvana head and I've really got back into them in a big way since the whole Nevermind anniversary thing.
I'd be lying if I said I hadn't always loved that guitar.

I did always like the Gibby switch on the lead circuit and the bound neck, and the humbucker config. The three knobs always looked weird though.
I'm just coloring my perception of this guitar with my hate for FMC. Have at it, man.
