Yes. I did. Thanks again. I tried it and the bridge posts were too big. When I got it wired I had him set it up how a mustang bridge is suppose to be stock (rocking) just to try and so far so good. It is staying in tune pretty well. I will let you know when I use it. I'll have to drill them.

By the way, The Staytrem really brought the outer strings in closer from the edge of the fretboard. It is amazing.

Looks good, I will have to get some shots in the new year when my neck is back to compare the shape/positioning of things. Same neck and body but I went with the JM style pickups, no master vol, and no pickguard, definitely some different looks stylistically as I flip between pics.

I don't think our bodies are the same. If that is a starblaster body, it's a freehand shape that Rhoney did. Your f holes look different than the original starcasters like mine. Mines from a tracing of an original starcaster. I did use your guitar as a base example of how a starcaster would look with a jaguar trem though :D

Yes mine is one of Paul's bodies, I forgot you had cooter do yours. The f-holes are Rhoney specific, I think my tele has the same style.

His shape is cool. I just wanted an original shape since I have always wanted to own an original an still do lol. I think cooterfinger had some fun building this too. It was his first one.

That guitar is pure awesome !!

I notice the padded spacer underneath the guard... is it stuck in somehow ? I'd be a bit concerned about flicking the guard outwards and ripping out the screws potentially.

Hows it play ? Sounds good ?

I think it'd look even better yellow'd and aged given time.

The felt spacer is stuck to the Pickguard. Then mounted to the pickups. That way it leaves no marks on the body or screw holes once the Pickguard is removed. I'm not worried about it catching on anything.

Looks great. Lovely fingerboard. Better than a re-issue

Clever.
This is my favourite build of recent times, really excellent result.

Thanks. It worked out better than I thought. I never thought of a felt bumper until cooterfinger said something.

Pro painted. Ill i can say dont like the big body.
But your making and putting together is good.

Congrats Punkacc!

Play some Foo Fighters now, dosent he use this guitar or is it a gibson that looks almost like a starcaster?

Please post a demo of I Should Have Known.
