I like your box lid board, very interesting idea. It's nice to see that someone has an ibanez DE7. I had one of those pedals for about 2 years and it was on the road a lot, those things can hold up to a lot of damage and they sound great too. The only thing they can't hold up against would be a band mate plugging the wrong power supply into it.

Verrrry cool- do you use the PS-3 as just a delay, pretty much?

Um, nah not really. When I'm feeling a little less restricted I like to have my analog delay on lower settings (sorta reverby almost) and the Boss as a delay. Then I do the swapsies around and use the Maxon as my main delay and use the Boss to achieve a chorus/ring mod type sound. I dunno, seems to work for me.

The RV-3 I got for wankeries sake. Tax month, spent my money on all the good stuff (rent, food, bills) so I rewarded myself. I've always wanted one though and that means I can stick to mode 4-7 with my PS-3, use the Maxon as my primary delay and the RV-3 for delay and plus even I can go against my '4 pedal and a tuner' thumb rule (+ the reverb on my amp is defunct).

grrrr fuck kinsman, the black fabric has come of the board, again! taking the smegger back and getting a diago. gone back to the gator for now and added mike's tuna melt. what a great trem pedal, sounds just right for the CCR songs we do in the band.

Wah sits to the right of the TS9, no room on the board for it.

temporary board, until i get my OCD back:

Image

signal goes-

Code: Select all

guitar> splitter>
channel 1: tuner> TS05 tubescreamer> fulltone distortion pro> DD3 delay> fender hot rod deluxe
channel 2: killswitch> cool cat fuzz> CE2 chorus> roland JC120
i'm going to try the chorus for a while, but i can't really see me using it enough to warrant it being on there. fuzz> chorus sounds pretty cool, but i'm not really a fan of modulation. we'll see.

need to get a couple more decent patch leads, i've run out of decent ones.

aye, when i said he could borrow it i meant until he dug out his own bass overdrive, but he seems to have incorporated it into his setup, the cheeky cunt. i'll dangle the dano transparent overdrive under his nose in the hope he'll bite but i'm not sure he'll go for it.

yep, love them adders, but i only bought enough for the setup i had at the time.

I not really sure what you're asking, "whats the one pedal I could really use from my board?" or "whats the one pedal I could really use for my board"

from: the SD-1 is the most useful pedal there.

for: there is so much stuff in the overdrive/distortion/fuzz department that you could expand on. a rat? a dist +? a big muff? there's a billion options you could explore there.

I'd invest in fuzz, get yourself a big muff.

new plan, reset the pot in my volume pedal so when it's down the sound is completely off. then set the pedal about 3/4 down and set my amp/DLS to be as loud as i need it. then i can turn down if need be and still have headroom for solos. also find if i have more volume at the ready, don't need the TS9 to kick the DLS as much.

Pretty sweet solution, rob. Is that a straight volum pedal or wah/volume like the mister crybaby (which I love mine)

straight volume pedal. dunlop high gain. once you've adjusted the range of the cog and teeth inside it goes from perfect silence to full tilt. it's working really well for me at the moment.
