GRETSCH FUCKING RULZ.

I really dig Cowbell's kit too. perfect for some oldskool rock - the way it should be.

i like my cymbals to be really thin and die out really fast. fuck having a ride cymbal that rings for 20 minutes.

luckily my taste in cymbals brings me right in there at the lowest price point on the totum pole. sabian B8's

here ya go 4 cymbals and a set of hi hats for 119 bucks. more cymbals then you got stands for

and these aren't even the ones i really like, these are B8 PRO. i like the plain shitty B8's the best. a pack of those would be less than 100 bucks usually

just put a piece of black electric tape over the tiny crack and it will last you at least a good 2 months before it gets bigger.

yeah, sabian are underrated, with emergenza there's a backline you 'have' to use and the drumkit (mapex, i think) had sabian cymbals (one of their sponsors), dunno which range tho, aax i believe,
but for once heavy cymbal-use did not wash away all the sound on a small stage (hard-hitting drummer)

most drummers i've played with so far had zildjians or paiste (current one)
china cymbals... i like the really small ones with very short sustain, good for accents here and there (cut thru) when you don't overdo it like some metalbands, our current drummer has a giant china cymbal, it rings forever and sounds real harsh
as for rides, crystal clear and jazzyyy 8) listen to the sound of the ride on do make say think's 'horns of a rabbit' ... the perfect ride-sound

Those drums are sold out. We were thinking of buying that set for our unemployed drummer. (Man I wish I didn't have a job. No one buys me shit)
