How is this hard to understand?

When using two cabs Cowbell has to put at least 8 ohms into each socket. He ain't at the moment. "Connected in parallel" refers to the use of both outputs.

Let's hope Cowbell does before he melts his Output Transformer.

By the way, you'll get more sound through one side than the other (the two 4s in series) when you make the change, this is what happens when you don't have equal impedances in parallel, and this will already be happening with the current 8/4 situation.

So instead of making them 4ohms, wire the 2 8ohm speakers in series so it will be 16ohms??? my head hurts. I followed instructions from a google search. I guess I should of called you on the telly mike. :wink:

TELL ME EXACTLY WHAT TO DO! now.

Wire the two 4 ohm speakers in series to one jack = 8 ohm cab

Wire the two 8 ohm speakers in series to the other jack = 16 ohm cab.

Connect both to your head = combined impedance of 5.3 ohms = good times.
