I really dont like 'standard' colours on guitars. Cherry SGS, sunburst strats, butterscotch teles, that sort of thing.

I like black teles a lot, but I'd probably say white with tort is the best way to go.

I like Black and White pg or White and Black pg personally, both with maple necks..

I have a black deluxe and a WD copy that looks like it's aged lake placid blue.

I voted daphne/lp blue.

I totally agree... except with Teles, where blonde with a black guard is sexy as fuck! Irresistable! And I want one badly!

Color is so subjective. Aug is tired of Fender colors because he has had the luxury of experimenting with them all. Still, there are a few colors Fender hasn't used that would totally work, like a bright olive green.

Surprisingly enough if I ever get another tele, I might consider Fender silver. I went with aged B blonde for mine since it's vintage. I am an odd purist about some things.
