It was this that set me off.
Fucking hell. Even reading it again makes me angry. Mojo? Fuck's sake.

I don't particularly care if you think I have a problem with you - I'm not going to tolerate you posting absolute claptrap. What a load of shite. I have an electronics degree, lots of my buddies died for that.
Discharging oil drum capacitors with large copper poles?

I've heared plenty of people use the word Mojo to describe electronics circuits before. I appologise that it offends you. Sorry I made you kill yourself.
I appologise that I said something incredibly stuipid which you feld obliged to shoot me down on.
I know you have an electronics degree and I respect the fact that you know (or knew if you're dead) much more than I do as I am a total noob at electronics and am mostly self taught.
I do want to learn more.
I guess I based my assumptions on complicated circuits based on the more expensive pedals I've seen the insides of (a few MXR for example) as well as other mid priced ones I prefer the sound of (for example, some Marshall ones) having much simpler circuits to the cheaper and reletively less pleasing soncially, to me personally, results produced by some behringer pedals. Although, some of the Behringer ones are great value for money and I like them a lot. I do have the Behringer Bass EQ permenantly in my setup.
I also thank you for explaining the bypass thing, it makes sense and I've learned something new.
