needs someone more lovable?
I don't think it should be favouritism, more how much they deserve it. Like Doog, Mike gigs a lot. He contributes a lot to this forum, and so what if he has a rather aggressive personality at times? It just wouldn't be Mike otherwise. Mike only has one guitar at the moment, so you can bet he'll actually put his custom to good use, much like the Doogcaster.

I can't really think of anyone else who would make good use of one. There are some nice personalities about, but active musicians are more of a priority I'd say.

I reckon the Augcasters are more of a priority right now than the next SS Team Build, so we'll see. But Mike has my vote for the above reasons...

Not to derail or anything, that's a nice guitar, but personally I reckon a white pickguard would look soooo much better.
I havn't been around long enough to make a judgement call I guess haha.

I like the tort, kinda reminds of pinos bass

Hmmm, I could start another SS guitar build

And thanks everyone for the compliments. It's ment to be coral. I found a paint shop who will mix any of the colors they do for auto paint in laquer, so I picked a color from a paint chip that looked the closest.
NOw that I found a place that will mix laquer, my strat is going to loose its sonic blue and become scumbag sparkle gold

Thanks for the kind words Malik, and although it's sweet of you to say so I don't think it'll be happening. I'm sure there's plenty more deserving folk around here than me. Maybe someone who hasn't actually got a shortscale and who has always wanted one but couldn't afford it might be a good choice. Anyways, don't want to ruin the thread. This Jazzmaster is too pretty for that.
