i made the body, and made a neck pokcet to accept the neck.
but i have been having to re-make a jag-stnag body for someone on the j.s. it was pure project body, they can't do anything more to it than i have so therefor they want another one, but its getting a bit rediculous, plus i still have to clean/ re-arrange the shop area. AND all the while im still level sanding/ spraying robs neck.

what do you guys think of this bridge?
anyone got any better ideas?
it seems solid enough, tho its just a photo and the 6 in 6 out deal seems to the most logical.

this appears to be a better buy, but i can't figure out if all the saddles are ajustable or not, the item description sucks ass.

i got the lefty keys in today and since the only peice of equipment that is running 100% is my drill press i put them in and did a mock up.
i was able to basically get a loan from my grandparents to more or less "re-plenish" the shop, so here in a couple of days i should be able to get some cash and finally get the fucknig ball rolling again, im starting to feel a bit stir crazy.
anywho, here are some mock up pics, cuz as you all know i love mock up pics.

im diggin the pg design, anyone got any input on it?
Image
im still waiting patiently for the fender blender............
any word on that selector knob?

the best i could do for a neck pocket was make a square and then "dip" the bit at either end, i figured i would fill in the rest of the area with wood filler to make it solid, but wood filler is crap, and after letting it dry for over 3 days i pulled the neck out and it crumbled like a bitch!
FUCK WOOD FILLER! the container always says " will not shrink or crack!" bullshit, out of 3 diff kinds and 10 diff manufactures of wood putty EVERY time i use it, it cracks and shrinks and eventually falls to lil pieces.
fuck it, no one will see it anyway right?

the lefty keys are obviously repros. got em for 50 bucks, im always gonna keep an eye out for vintage keys but im not spending 120 bucks, like i have previously seen them listed for, thats just silly.
one side of the casing lined up perfectly and i screwed in that side, tested out how strable they were and was satisified so i don;t have to bother with drilling a hole new set of screw holes. there is only 1 hole that is not og, but that can easiy be plugged if needed.

Do you really need to fill in the neck pocket excess, because it will be covered by an eventual PG.

i really like the idea of the pickguard using a bronco top half. The only thing i would suggest is making the top half dip in just a little bit more than what you've already done, i think it looks a little to subtle right now, but if you made it dip in too much you could also overdo it. It's seriously almost perfect
