it's doing some odd glitchy stuff. Weird.
i think the glitchy thing you are hearing is the guitar a little out of tune and the octave kinda fighting it. not sure. we are still messing with a cap in that tone stack though.
if you look at the waveform for tone stack 2 you can see that the shin ei has these wierd transient spikes that the proto doesnt, and we are almost there with replicating the same waveform.

either way, we are still trying to get that elusive bottom end back, and tweak it just a tad more to get the tone spot on. we are very happy with tone 1, so we are hoping tone 2 will be easily remedied.

WOAH! awesome. i like to think of it as a reproduction rather than a clone. the idea was to get the tone as spot on as possible.
how do you like the sound?
i like it so far, would be good to hear it with say a lead tone, different amps/gain structures. if i get one, it would be run into a tonebender to get the sustained steve hackett sound from the early genesis albums, a sound i've always wanted.

yeah its screwed in with a little tiny bolt and a nut. i hate that battery clip. we are using a way sweeter one on the production model. i am almost way too excited for just the battery holder. its the coolest battery holder ive ever seen.
