The sparklies are nice aren't they?

I think it's a good size for a pedal and I love the idea of mod on/off and a present rate and depth adjustable inside.

i read the retail price would be around 150$ so that's pretty reasonable too, the sparkles are nice too yes :P

Nah. Thats the one of the coolest features compaired to all other pedals, but it octaves and tracks chords, seriously. You can turn your guitar into a bass, etc. Buy one, try it, if you don't like it, you will easily sell it for what you paid and get your money back.

Agreed, you can blend out the octave down to none and blend the octave up to just the right mix with your uneffected signal(or 100% octave up). it's very easy to use and tracks incredibly well

The Pearl octave is supposed to be pretty damn good, think it's all analogue too- does up and two down, pretty rare occurance.

Rare and pricey though.

cow i can't believe you just said that !! turn a guitar into a bass ffs ??

a guitar can NEVER have teh magick bass powars ! never!

besides, i have an oc2 that can do sub octaves and lets you remove the 'original' guitar note, but it sounds more synthy

actually... i just got a great deal on a box..it wasn't really what i was looking for.. but i was too tempted, couldn't resist.. dude will send it to me this week..

i was lucky i found a nice one secondhand and it's in great shape, wouldn't buy a new one, the white lines on the knobs are a bit faded, that's all, the oct up is useable with powerchords too and the reg fuzz reminds me a bit of a big muff but you have the option of adding more mids with the fat switch, the bright switch is like a mid scoop, i wonder if it's gonna fall out of the mix as much as the big muff does though, won't know that until i try it in a band setting. i recorded a few shot vids but then the memory of my cam was full (two vids ?), gonna experiment a bit more, it reacts nice with the fuzz side of the great destroyer too.

btw, is fulltone part of fender ? the 'f' looks a lot like the fender logo

cam mic couldn't always handle it and just when i started to find some good settingsand combined it with the GD the memory was full haha

octane iii is disppointing and kinda dull. johnny octave is hours of interloping fun. Piles of musical and complete crap[in a wonderful way] in that pedal. one day I will probably own one.
