I say refinish it. Along the lines of what Mike said, it's not like it came naturally, it's a finish flaw. You've got the know how, do it rite.

I'm thinking im going to take the rob OG punk rock route and try to squeeze the paint out of that last can of fiesta red. i think we can pull it off.

i think i read somewhere about drop-filling. never tried it though. i think the idea is to just drop big blobs on scratches, dings, or dents and then wetsand them smooth.
might work better than spraying if your can is nearly empty.

see the difference? It sort of eases in with the matching headstock now. That was actually a 51 neck that I reshaped the profile somewhat on. I really love it more than the real telecaster neck that I have.

It looks so much better now. it was way more stark before.
