Srsly one of us lot should buy that hondo, it'd be a nice addition to anyones collection for what, less than £50.

I think he had tinnitus well before the band, but of couse was made worse. even Our Band Could Be Your Life mentions him jamming on his LEAD.
I can't wait for next week: they're reissuing their first 3 EPs with a shitload of extras
I really like those too, but their value has been way too high for me to justify buying one. I had a chance to buy one during my freshman year at ECU when the guy that runs this guitar shop in greenville had a lead II for $599... they were selling for less than that on ebay at the time and the guy refused to negotiate so I didn't get it.
He also wanted $400 for a squier bullet... it was one of the nice ones from the 80's but still at the time it was not worth that. He was selling a beat to shit Gibson SG standard, the paint was faded so bad and it was all splotchy like it faded worse in some parts more than others, there were dents and dings and chips all over the thing and he wanted $1100 for it... they sell brand new in perfect condition for $1249!!!! That guy was a piece of shit and I refused to support his shittiness so I never bought anything from him.
Oh he's also the same guy that told me I was an idiot for restoring my Bronco because as he said "nobody likes those guitars, or the mustangs or musicmasters". That guy is a fucking idiot.

This guitar really is nothing special, it's not as ugly as some of the other Fenders that are absymal and that people still like, but if this was made by any other company hardly anybody would care.

Most electric guitar enthusiasts are fairly weak-minded individuals in this respect. An old, oddball Fender is good because it isn't a Strat but has a lot of old Fender hallmarks like, say, a Strat.

Nah it's a cool-looking little guitar. The double-cutaway is a neat shape and it looks streamlined and purposeful. The Lead II makes more sense to me than the others in the series though.
