it's not like i need clearcoat now, but i was just curious.
rustoleum abounds, but i didn't know if it was good enough.

Sorry man, you'll avoid evil WalMart because labor union sponsored propaganda tells you that it's bad for America (not to mention all of the union dues not being collected by America's largest employer), but Homer Depot and Lowes operate in exactly the same fashion, with regards to running out local competition and mass buying and stuff. It's bullshit, if you're against one, you're against them all for the same reason. Or you can realize that there are no more ice peddlers, and buggy repairman and admit that that is the direction retail is going to continue in.

you know what mezzio? three fucking cheers for jumping to conclusions. it has little to do with that okay?
i was about to PM you and tell you EXACTLY WHY. but fuck, i dont even think i owe you such a civil tip of my hat.
put it short, i've had family work for all three companies.
my oldest sister was shit upon at walmart repeatedly [the same as another woman i know here in florida that worked there for god knows why over 13 years]. she eventually found herself at lowes, where she was treated actually a lot better as an employee. my brother also worked there and maybe it was that magical store, but they seemed to have good things to say.
and my father, worked for home depot after being laid off as a Human Resources Manager. he started as a typical aisle worker and after a few years, worked himself up through the paces into Human Resources again.
and when he died, they were very very kind to our family.
so thank you. so fucking much. for assuming things about me.
also, even less important, you have no idea of my shopping habits, you assume because i even considered walmart or homedepot or lowes that i go there constantly. wrong again. there's a nice lumberyard across town, and two mom and pop hardware shops i get my typical wares from, which are within bicycle distance.
wal-marts are almost as far as home depot... so if i can avoid driving, all right. maybe i should be 100% clear in every future message as to avoid confusion.
can we continue our discussion on paint now?

So you are avoiding driving because you don't want to contribute to big oil company profits? Man I can read you like a book.

this is somewhat off topic but when i went and saw henry rollins he did a thing about why its ok to work at wal-mart and "big companies"
basically he said, you gotta eat, its all about just trying to get a dollar to suport yourself and your family.
and then he went on to say, but we should all know better and shopping at that sort of place will fuck some shit up!

boyecho, i know what you mean man, my old lady drives 70 miles 7 times a week for school and work,
and she makes 100 bucks a week working at kohls, gas is currently 3.49 a gallon here, she drives my car which gets about 32 mpg average(for the trip)
do that math on that.
its crazy nowadays.

I'd rather bike cause it's so much cooler to hit a ledge on a bike than a car...
Henry Rollins is the shit, but sometimes he's a little over the top.

Only if it belongs to one of three people.
1) People I hate.
2) People I don't know.
3) People I don't know, but will dislike in the future.
Besides that, my car received no hail damage tonight, so I'm giz-ood
