i can only recall seeing them on a few old basses. i don't think any of the reissues come with them. you can try ebay.

Dude you got a sweet deal! I played a mustang bass at the raleigh GC a while back and it sounded really good! Those pickups sound just as good as a p bass pickup to me, I was really surprised at how good that bass sounded!

I was talking to Shae. I don't remember his. Yours is legendary. (my brown bronco was first though)

Its a noho body with a vintage neck. So the paint is technically the original coat but was done in the Noho garage.

RObroe's bronco inspired me to buy my bronco and put a lil hum in it.

Awesome. I couldn't figure what I liked more, the Jaguar or the Mustang bass...
If you think of god as a pair of pants, a spiritualist thinks he needs pants, in fact he wants pants but none of the conventional types of pants seem to fit just right, so he makes his own pants and is happy that his knees are no longer cold.-fibus

can't you just spray your pickup covers white and then dump on a load of clear to keep it on?

i bought "dover white" krylon fusion spray paint for plastic.
dover white is kinda like vintage white i guess...there was a can that was much more of a stark white but fuck that shit
Astro gave me the tip on the paint. if this shit sucks YOU ARE DEAD
na not really ill just sand it off and go about my business asking everyone to find me real white covers

LULZ, if it doesn't work, give me a heads up so that I can say good-bye to my mom.
Seriously though, keep us posted on how well this stuff works out. If it's durable, it would be a cheap way to colourize pickup covers, pickguards, knobs, or any other plastic parts.
If all else fails, maybe the guy who made the white Jag/Mustang knobs can build you some? I would imagine all he would need to do is make a mold of the covers. Of course, he'll probably charge you a bazillion dollars for that.
