It's way better than a Fender Blender. The Octave effect will be footswitchable for one.
This is max Gain and Volume settings bear in mind - once we add some proper EQ control and I get a Gain pot in there it's going to be awesome

I had the Octave effect hardwired on, I'll have to make a short video with it off.

Making Veroboard layouts that complicated takes several iterations and is tedious as fuck. I hope it's going to fit into the case with two footswitches, it's gonna be a tight fit. I hope I get big time manlove from Hurb at Doogfest for this.

After finishing Ludger's Booster I was still in the mood so I made a veroboard for Hurb's pedal. Marked where the ground rails, external connections and tranny sockets are in black. Red are cut traces.
Cut the traces using a drill
All resistors on board

Sick tones from that demo, Mike. The hint of octave and wet decay made me reach for my Jimi Hendrix lunchbox this morning.
Hurbivoires everywhere would love to see it in the hands of the man himself.

Yeah I cannot wait until someone who doesn't reach for the outro solo from
Live Forever while playing a Fuzz box has it in their hands. It'll be slow going with a pedal this complex and I'm yet to finalise the bass/treble control's tone stack, but I'm glad to be off the ground and making progress.
it's going to be a BEAST.

Nah, they're just low-gain old school ones. The diodes are germanium.
