Actually, Maui blue would be nice. I am now leaning toward Daphne since I know I love it, and I have enough. There's a sick part of me that wants to drain some partial cans onto it to look a bit like a swordfish. It would be blue fading into translucent white, into solid white, into pink. But it may end horribly, waste paint, or look WAY GAY. Best to go with Daphne and sell off the rest. There may never be a better use for Mary Kay White. The grain is SO pronounced. Think of a tele without the yeller. I am reluctant to touch the headstock even though it's the wrong decal. Matching headstocks are so tasty.

If I could get the cans to spit, I wouldn't mind trying to spray every color to get it to look like static on a TV, and then if that is too weird, do a translucent over it. That's along the lines of what I have been doing on canvas with washes. And nitro melts into itself, so I have a good shot at a glass finish by the end. The colors I didn't mention are neck amber, tinted clear, and primer, which I will need. Oh, and BIG BLACK for that 63 Rickenbacker that's crying itself to sleep every night waiting to be painted. THIS SHIT IS SITTING IN MY GARAGE.
