with no tint

as far as deft, I've polished and wetsanded after about two hours with no problem, but it is under the warm california sun where this is done.
And it does look a lot nicer after, I agree.
As for Klusons - everyone knows they're the best, right?
Yeah, some guitar necks call for a tint. That does looks really nice, better than it did with a pale neck. Actually Its pretty fucking hot up here right now too, probably just as hot as sunny Ca. So far the finish still looking good. Deft dries to the touch fairly quick, so I think I might be alright.
darker necks look nicer I think but I don't really like tint. I like it when the neck is yellowed from the sun. it's guaranteed to happen eventually but if the neck has been tinted it will end up looking super doodoo brown.
But I don't really play out in the sun, nor do I live my gear out so I guess It will never happen. Plus the first coat i laid was clear to protect the neck, add the fact that Deft supposedly won't yellow over time.
there are very few places on the planet (especially the parts we live in) that are untouched by the sun's radiation. have you ever seen a vintage fender without a yellowed neck?

omfg, I want this exact guitar, but tele... beautiful color and the headstock looks dope.
If you think of god as a pair of pants, a spiritualist thinks he needs pants, in fact he wants pants but none of the conventional types of pants seem to fit just right, so he makes his own pants and is happy that his knees are no longer cold.-fibus
