I dont particularly think it looks a 'Metal' guitar, its more futuristic looking to me. Even the 'Katanas' as well. It reminds me of bands like Sigue Sigue Sputnik for some reason, not Anthrax.
The guitrarist in Gaye Bykers On Acid used one, maybe thats why i'm biased to it.
