MO, WE NEED TO DO THIS!!!
by the way, the bass side of the thinble route went ascure, but i measured it out, and its fine.
i should also mention that i fuct up boyecho's jazzy body, i used a stu mac strat temp(according to noho, which is a strat)
but it apparently moved on me so i fuct it up,
and i alsop did not calculate that string heighth on micks tele, nor mikes mutang/duo mix up with the toro bridge.
im a fuck up, check my thread in the shortscale.

Rob OG, your self-deprecating ways are bumming me out.
I've never bought anything from you but I've seen many a pics
featuring your work and I gotta tell you, there's a point when too
much humility starts sounding insincere. Don't take this the wrong way
but also, don't take it to that point, man.

You HAVE to realize on some level that what you do is good, or else
why would people like us keep paying you for it?

well, in that case, i know what the fuck im doing, i am competent enough to make an archtop, bolt on electric, neck truck, set neck, or a dove tail acoustic, but when it comes to 50.00 and below bodies, i pull them off super fast.
why?
becuz 90% of the folks on here have already done a custom before and its cheaper than wood and its less work than buying the wood, a router, the temps, and all that jazz.
all they need(TOP END) is some wood filler, sand paper, and patience.
contrary to what some say, but non the less if someone is thoroughly displeased with something i will try to make it right.

This thread is making me frustrated... I was hoping to paint my RobOG Jazzie body this summer, but I'm in the midst of a move, so I can't start it any time soon. Plus it's rained EVERY FUCKING DAY of the summer here, so even if I was able to do it, the weather wouldn't cooperate. FUCK!

I have all the parts... even have the Daphne Blue nitro from Reranch... but I don't think I have the patience to survive the wait!

By the way everybody: nice guitars! You've all made cool projects. Three cheers for RobertOG for making our guitar dreams come true!

Only thing is that he never got back to me about those JM bodies he had for sale.

Rob, did they all sell, or are you just not interested in selling them anymore?

no, well, i mean, i am still interested in selling them, i've just gotten caught up with everything else.
i figure that soon enough i will just take about 3 millions pics, post them in the classifieds and have a bit of a bid war to whoever wants em.
