Basic as they are, I really like MXR/Dunlop pedals- the Dist+, Supercomp, Graphic EQ with a stomper on. Really simple and useful, plus they're a perfect size.
Build yourself a Fuzz Factory if you want a cheaper Oscillating Fuzz. Having seen the work you did on your MXR Dist+ I'm sure you can do it. I can give you all the info you need if you're interested.
I hink even a fuzz face oscillates if you starve it...

Fuzz Factory = Fuzz Face with a Booster up front and a Starve control, and some pots in place of resistors.
Funtimes though. Hardest part is wiring all those fukcing pots.

Ah cheers. I might need some help actually when I get round to the next project. First-up I've just bought the bits for yet another dist+, that I want to slap some diode switching options in, and found a nice simple octave circuit that I want to tack on the end. Once that's built it'd be nice to try something weirder.

I really don't like EHX anymore. The Small Stone is my go-to phaser (when it works) and I wouldn't want to be without a BMP, but everything else seems wank. Plus everything has a volume cut and since they went to surface-mount PCBs you can't even fix them anymore. Some of their stuff (like the WORM) is literally the worst I've ever played.
Danelectro gets my vote - dirt cheap and always at least serviceable. If they still made amps I would have an all-Dano rig.

I'm still impressed with the t rex pedals I have so they get my shout. Their reverb pedal is the best sounding I've heard (a demo of).

Say what you will about EHX, points are pretty valid, but their PolyChorus has no equal.

Graphic Fuzz is now my best friend again now I'm downtuning as fars a A. Can get some pretty grim sounds with it.

I love my vintage EHX big muff and small stone.
D W A F C R A F T RULES ALL though
SHIVA. it melts faces......... in more than one way. gotta love a pedal with a learning curve
I applied for a job with Devi ever drilling enclosures, so if I get hired I'll have to say they're my favorite. Ive never played one though.
AEN tell them to hire me. I'll work for pedals

oooh.. that's a hard one. There are so many neat things about different manufacturers its hard to pick a favourate.
I mean Boss are a good size, reliable and noiseless (usually) where as EHX are funky and novel but the switch sometimes sounds like a bomb going off, MXR are a pedalboard dream with their small tank-like build but they usually crap in bypass, boutique pedals sound awesome but leave you with no food in your cupboards.....
I'd say Boss.
