Well, Newbright studio burnt down a little bit, a couple weeks ago.
Nothing serious got damaged but the whole place smells like mesquite and altough you would think everything smelling like bacon all the time would be awesome, it's really not very awesome at all.
We're moving, so I should have something new to contribute to this thread soon, if everything works out.

We have a new home... If you wanna call it that...
It's fucking grungy as FUCK, guys.
It used to be an old electro-plating plant and in the other rooms, there's alot of crazy looking machiney and shit.
The building is located directly in front of a huge metal recycling plant with mental big, evil looking smokestacks.
there's not a residential bulding for several blocks, so we can play as loud as we want, whenever the fuck we want.
This is seriously awesome news for us.
Lowe and behold: The Dirty Warehouse
The room is very reflective but that makes the drums sound awesome.
It's pretty fucking big
Power Balladesque verb on tap.
Turn this into a control room, maybe?
Obligatory shot of the Cycsloan and friends

Thanks! We're super happy about the place.
We've had alot of hardship come about in the old studio because of other tenants in the building.
The complaints escalated to threats which may or may not have escalated to arson, we'll never really know because the fire dept. doesn't seem to give a shit about investigating the cause of the fire and seem quite content with leaving the record at "who knows?"
Nedless to say, this has interfered with pretty much all levels of operations, which in our case, has caused a substantial loss of revenue.
Not only have we had bands refuse to practise, but others litterally bailed out of recording deals because of the constant threatening.
This is all behind us now. Sure, we're going to have to put in alot of hard work and throw loads of money into making this space as functional as the old place but it'll be worth it.

i think this thread sucks, it's typically fender ass forum or fancy guitar collectors forum shite
shit if i'd have to post pics of all the places i've rehearsed with with bands this thread would be massive, unfortunately i'm a lazy fuck and i'm not gonna go look for those pictures now, also because i hate 99% of my previous bands because they all stabbed me in the back and i'm bitter and it's too painfull to check those pics again
. i wanna kill them.

Viva, that's super bad-ass, man!
This was in the middle of a public park?
...like, you were renting this place off the city?
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome.

Yeah it was a public park called Ørstedsparken, right in the middle of the city...
We rented it off the local council, however, they had already put in the all the power and fittings to make it usable as a rehearsal room...
I was kinda weird being so deep underground tho, it was completely silent and still cold in the middle of summer...

Here's our practice space/studio-of-sorts:
Guitar/Bass side
Drums/Keys/Recording stuff side
The room has pretty terrible acoustics, but the foam makes it do-able. We recorded a whole album in there and I think it sounds pretty damn good.
