Plus it's got back-mounted jacks, you'd have to factor the jacks onto the width of the MXR.

I'd go for the Subdecay- it's always nicer to have parameters at your fingertips, rather than having to dig out a screwdrive and pull the back off each time you fancy a tweak.

the subdecay stupid box seems really good as a distortion, i think that was the guy's first production pedal. i went for the fulltone in the end, but looking at the stupid box drew me to the noise box... it's just annoying that vintage and rare are the UK distributor, they're bloomin' gangsters. i've never heard the echo pedal before, it sounds humazin'.

I've just read the guy Brian's posts on the Echobox. He comes across so well.

I would vote to give this guy your money rather than Dunlop. He seems like a fucking legend and a talented one at that.

It's only slightly bigger. I think I've seen them for less than the vintage and rare price. I'll have a look now.
Cheers
I'm not seeing anything. I think it might just have been £129 at vintage and rare a month ago and the price has increased with the exchange rate change.

Ying/yang post: I had heard that the MXR wasn't as analogue as they were making out (does that make any sense? Seems pretty spurious to me, just repeating internet rumours, huggybear style). But, I've seen a couple for sale in various classifieds sections around the place - I'll keep an eye out for you...

Good point. Am veering this way now...

In other news when did the DMM become £200?

The ebay conversion puts that as £134.72. I'd rather pay the extra £5 and get it in England and not worry about long delivery times or customs charges.

You might find one on TGP, I had a look there recently and saw one or two but the threads might have been old. Be warned those guys expect to get about $10 less than rrp a lot of the time because its all booteek.

Second hand price seems to be £200 but a blue decal one sold for £70 it seems the other day. Proper vintage stuff.

How can second hand price be more than the new price? Are people completely retarded?

The new version has true bypass and a detachable power cord, these are both advantages.

£70 for a Blue one is silly, but EHX stuff is weird, some of the rare stuff isn't sought after at all.
