Got new parts today, Trem, Mustang bridge and Buzzzzstop.

I strung it up with all the 24s, 22s, and 18s I have wasting space in my home. I tuned them to "eh it feels ok"

WOW. So, good news is, it feels fucking sweet. I even windmilled it, and the strings stayed put, thats a good indicator. The trem has a nice smooth but firm action to it. The action was fucking spectacular. If a guitar can make me enjoy playing 24-18s, I imagine it will be fucking cum worthy when I get pikups and real strings on it.

*edit* I also made a new avatar.

Ok dudes, I need some advice. So I got a Duncan Quarter pounder neck PU and an antiquity 2 bridge pickup. Problme is, Neck PU is a crushing 14k or something, and the bridge PU is around 8k.

I recall that the bridge pickup is supposed to be of higher ohms/louder. Should I swap them mother fuckers, or can I compensate with pickup height. I don't want to lose any bass on the neck though. My last JM had a QP and an AVRI combo, and I had the bridge up as higha s I could, and I totally lost volume :?

You should probably swap them. Thats a pretty hefty difference.

I had to use TAPE or be patient, so I chose TAPE! I decieded to get osme foil tape at the hardware store for $6 and shield the hell out of it, rahter than spend thrice the price fro some Dimarzio copper tape and kind of sheild a portion of it.

Well, it sounds great, feels good! It's heavy as a wrecking ball though, hve to get used to that still.

Ugh. I bought the wrong fucking screws to mount the fucking pickups. In addition to that, the kids stole and lost my one and only decent screwdriver so the guitar is pretty much in pieces, waiting for me to GET A FUCKING TOOL THAT IS MADE OF A HARDER METAL THEN THE FUCKING SCREWS. ALSO I fucked up the tone knob, somehow, it's wired just like the diagram, and it's like some shit ass volume knob that goes backwards.

THIS IS WHY I BUILD FUCKING PEDALS, FUCK.

All this stacked up with the heavy heaviness is kind of making me want to throw this bitch at someone. So to calm down I will watch Tropic Thunder.
