hmm, funny ideas visit me.
what if i put tele pickups into a mustang? :oops:
i think there would be no major problems with neck pickup, but i'm not sure if bridge pickup can be cropped to fit a 'stang robroe cover and still be functional :roll:

and Mike, yes, that is best solution you have there, and i'm also thinking about classic vibe duo, but don't have any monies atm :( had luck to play around with custom shop relic'd '52 RI few days ago.. damn that thing is nice. very very light and comfortable to handle.

The slant of a tele bridge pup is at more on an angle than a strat. 18 degrees vs. 8 degrees on a strat I think. You get that bassy thump on the low strings particularly the E and twangy bite on the higher ones. You'd need a custom guard or better yet find a way to incorporate a tele bridge. Or get a tele.
