Can we move this thread to offsetguitars.com?
Gold guards are the only way to make up for it being sunburst.
Everything should have a gold guard. EVERYTHING.

i cant imagine not liking woodgrain. its one of my favorites.
also, sunburst is one of the only finishes that looks great with any pickguard. do what makes you happy, but keep that gold one around, and all the other parts you might remove.
the gold is hot tho.
