Give me an SG body and maybe even an Epi manufacture and I'll be regretful.

Haha, they are rather similar. Although if I remember the gibson custom shop site has been like that since a while before they changed their main site.

All this shit they put on the guitar to sell it, and they've never just inlaid some graphite rods into the headstock joint.
The robot stuff is idiotic - nobody who wants one can afford it and the people who can are pros who know how to tune. It's a novelty - in 5 years they'll all be busted and sold for parts on eBay at 1/4 of the original value. Gibson is like GM - they think they can make any piece of crap and people will buy it.

In the sense that they're loud, heavy, expensive, break a lot, and are exclusively owned by douche bags. Yes, they're a lot like Harley Davidson.

oh fuck, i hope this trend is gonna die out soon IF NOT MORE STUPID ASS GUITARISTS BUY THIS SHIIIIT;
mojo : 0
sexy: 0
rawk: 0
i don't know what's worse, guitar hero or this, i'm pretty sure this is worse because guitar hero is just a game, this is a guitar for actual 'guitarists' but it's also not a guitar, it's gonna be taken seriously whereas guitar hero isn't. maybe i'm narrowminded but i can't imagine having a desire for this sort of guitars, ever...and if i'd see someone with one of those robo guitars on a stage i'd defo feel like stabbing out his eyes with a broken beerbottle and then but the damn thing on fire

Fender all the way. I'm a single coil man and the majority of Gibson necks I've played have given me hand cramps.
That said I could totally rock a les paul junior or a melody maker.
