You could always get Aen's Dwarfcraft Devices The Great Destroyer and Shiva pedals, they're pretty tame and normal fuzzes. haha.

I think that Fuzzface will work out great...how does your operation work? Do I need to get on a waiting list?
I've only got one pedal on the go at the moment and I have everything (including a matched set of Germanium transistors) in stock. If you wanna go ahead, shoot me a pm, we'll sort out Paint and LED colours and I'll get to work. I can have a case marked up today and drilled tomorrow if you catch me before I leave to go to my folks.

Mike why do you bitch out Mewithoutus when he spams his Superfuzz, when you and Aen do the same thing?

By the way I don't care, if it's gonna be spam free for all. But you shoudln't be above the rules and then smackdown Chris everytime he says something. You even warned Timhulio in another thread, we can't have double standards and different rules for different people.

I did ask if anyone built clones on the board...

My three weapons of choice:

Yah, those last two are a little too kick ass for me....don't think I'd be able to control that shit.

The first one sounds good though.

That's funny, because the Supersonic Fuzz is probably the craziest and most unstable of the three! There's two settings, Gate and Oscillation. The former sounds clipped, the latter has a tendency to emit ear piercing feedback.

Check out the samples:

The Devi Ever Bit: Legend of Fuzz was made to emulate fuzzed up chiptune/8-bit sounds. I'd say the Hyperion is the most traditional of the three, although it can get really crazy when the control is turned way up.

1. I haven't every "smacked down Chris" about the Super Fuzz ever. But we don't need a new thread in The Pub every time he sells a pedal
2. I was joking with Tim, he knows it - it seems you don't.
3. Someone else mentioned me, am I supposed to ignore it? I didn't exactly drop into the thread and pimp out my wares.
4. Ridiculous.

Exactly. I don't throw my hat into the ring, but if someone asks I'm going to reply.

Also it's laughable to suggest I'm making a massive buck out of doing what I do, people need to get their calculators if they think that's the case. I could just as easily not build pedals - I have a regular job.

We shouldn't have different rules for different people, that's all I care about. If you don't think that's the case then fine but I have noticed it.

Who suggested that?

Mike wrote:Unfortunately not, it is a "Genuine" FuzzFace in that it uses pnp Germanium Transistors and the classic circuit, so it is positive ground. This means that you can only run it on a battery or it's own power supply, if you daisy chain it with regular pedals it will ground out. However I did wire the DC jack so that you can use a regular boss style adaptor to power it (you won't need a reverse polarity adaptor) but you just can't daisy chain it. That said battery life should be very long and it has input jack switching to remove the battery from the circuit when you remove the input jack.
When I got mine I used it pretty much constantly, great battery life. It's the first Fuzz I've ever been 100% happy with. Next stop for me might be some kind of insano-fuzz. Paging Dr Aen....
Chicago Mike wrote:Right on...I really dug the demo sounds that were up on the thread.

I run my amp pretty clean/loud and use a Mustang & Jaguar (with DiMarzio Pickups, Super Distortion & PAF).....I'm hoping to get some good creamy fuzz.
It reacts great to the strangle swith on the Jag too, a very pleasant surprise!!

I'm glad you're still enjoying it, I was a big fan of the sound the first time I made one, it was a big surprise how flexible it was.

I don't see it. Someone mentioned the fact I build pedals for people here and so I replied. I didn't spam his thread telling him to get me to build a pedal. I never do that.

I keep my pedal building content in the Whorehouse thread I made, aside from the video demos I throw in here for interest's sake. If you think there is a problem with the way I've been handling this, then please contact Hurb, Mezz, and Dots or by all means stick a straw-poll in the Pub to gauge the response of the populous. The last thing I want to do is annoy people.

It's all good. I just wanted to make you mindful of it. This place is so good because we always try to insure fairness. I don't think anything has got to the level of making a big deal of it.
