i KNOW and i don't particularly like the tape. but the original tort guard has shrunk too much, it just won't fit anymore.
so now BOTH these guitars have non-fitting MIJ guards on them. that's why the tape is there.

i've already got an AVRI tort guard on the way for the Jag but i still need one for the Jazzmaster. i kinda like the green/white, though.

been strumming the guitar a bit and MAN i really like how it feels. haven't had a jag in years now. hopefully in 48 hours i'll have her up and running again...

ps: the rhythm circuit switch got broke on the trip to me... it won't CLICK anymore, it just slides from one side to another... geez now i'll have to find another one....
