Hey Mike, what's the name of that J band?

Wilbur, you're one of TWO bassists on this forum!
There's more than 2 bassists on shortscale... lemme think... ProcessedMeatMan, Kim, Ultratwin, Roachello, Chico "Mr Awesome" Malo, British Aen to name a few

Nick wrote:It's not my favorite song of theirs, but it was the first vid I could find where they use those Yamaha basses. The guitarist used to play the guitar version of the same style Yamaha. I don't get the green day affiliation though. I have a few of their albums, it's hard to place their sound, some stuff has ska influence, some more rockabilly/jazz chords, and some is just more mainstream japanese pop/rock. Besides, they're like chicks and stuff, and play cool guitars. Not to mention most of their songs have more than 3 chords and they can actually all play their instruments quite well. Didn't mean to derail the thread.

obviously he's talking about this.

£100 with an hour to go. Surely it's got to go for at least £250 or so. I have a feeling this auction is going to leave me wanting on of these and never being able to find another.

I really wish I'd put a bid in, but even that's out my range at the moment...

I am not big on the Parker stylee headstock, but that body is worthy of reissue.

I might also mention if you haven't seen it that Reranch has come out with an Ocean Turquoise in a can. New color, Roach! It looks almost like aged LPB.
