regarding poo brown, i have noticed that my favorite strats are poo brown, namely ira kaplan's (fave strat and strat player)

i dont think that this is a stain, does alder turn that color as it ages, unfinished? i have seen others like this too.
that tele looks great so far aen. i think ill model my melody maker after that.
