Yeah I was gonna say we've hijacked like a page of this thread.
Back on point, nobels pedals seem pretty awesome, doog did a demo of one and it was really versatile.

Pricing for these seem to be all over the place. The XTREME one seemed really appealing, when I saw it in the shoppe and I've been kind of looking for a new straight forward distortion effect to kick my amp in the face with. I guess for 40 bucks, I can't really go wrong.

I think you'll find they are very similar, the Nobels will have more low end though. Digitech Bad Monkeys are transparently awesomerz for the money as well.

I don't know why but I didn't like my Bad Monkey.
<3 the ODR1 though. weird. My other favorite overdrives are the DOD 250 (old yellow box version) and Boss SD-1, which are admittedly less transparent than the tubescreamer-derived variety.

Yeah, i have a Dod YJM308 which is like a 250 with a bigger range. Nice pedal.
