Yeah, not a fan, I think it's to do with the low magnetic pull not influencing the string as much as it can with a trad. single... More sustain, less twang (for better or worse).

I hate them personally, they sound too flat and not sparkly as I'd expect a single to sound... If they were humbucker sized I might forgive them more, but if the other option is a trad. single, I'll take that :lol:

ive got the "corgan" set-up on my oly strat... i like the red lace quite a bit, its the blue one that i'm not so into, it's got fucking wimpy output, i do like it through a fuzz though.

I received most of the parts for this project, however there are some issues that need to be addressed before I continue. I need to have a professional fix the fret sprout that's developed, and I need a nut cut. After that I need to do the wiring and it should be good to go.
