The guitarist in my band has the Behringer PB booster, it's not quite the definition of "clean".

cant say I have used it. the thing with boosters is how they sound depend on the amp. A booster into my old tiny terror overdrived the amp all lovely. but with my hotrod the amp stays cleaner much more and just gets loud.

Yeah, that's because of the preamp topology of the amplifier. The Tiny Terror has a lot of preamp gain on tap that you can boost into, the Hot Rod Clean channel, doesn't. If you set the Drive channel up for low gain, you'll be able to Boost that into overdrive though.

i love how the saltboost and lbp-1 add that bit of bottom end, it makes people realize its "solo time". sometimes i like it a little flatter with my les pauls.

I'm still waiting on Proggie's pedals. His Dad needs to post them!
my dad is an arse, he's had me on the phone to try and get him ac/dc tickets. i gave him a ultimatum, send my pedals and i'll get his tickets.
i despair, him walking out on the family was actually the best thing he did for us.

Enormously late to thread, even though I've read it umpteen times: the link Aen posted is where I built mine from. It's a dead handy and dead fun pedal; for one, you can keep noisy (bypass) pedals out of the signal chain, and turn on umpteen pedals at once. For two: it turns all your pedals, and all your combinations of pedals, into fuzz factory/ultralord/teaser stallion crazy horses. It double's your number of pedals. Plus, it's so easy to make even a wurzel with two fists full of thumbs can make it.

Oh, and the SF300 demoed by Hurb above is fucking ace - two good fuzz modes as well as that boost.
