Boss DD20 - lots of lolz to be had.
I thought your DMM sounded like complete crap as a result of the mods done to it?Armchair Bronco wrote:If you're a poor student, you should take a look at the analog MXR Carbon Copy. It's getting really good reviews. When you're a working stiff with some cash to burn, you can save up for an EHX Deluxe Memory Man.
I got a DMM for Christmas, but I'd love to add a Carbon Copy to my collection.
What was the title of that thread? I'm searching for it...euan wrote:I don't think I posted in that thread because I cracked up so much everytime I read it. Even when he first posted it. I saw the way it was going.
Weird. That just takes me to a page asking me to log in.Mike wrote:missing girl

It comes with its own power supply anyway.prismrock2003 wrote:sweet no need for anonther power supply then
Coal? Damn, I had this fantasy of it being powered by Justin flapping his bellybutton in dots basement, and the frequent outages were just simply when dots forgot to restock the ketchup bottles.Mike wrote:It's probably the search term addition to the url.PenPen wrote:Weird. I have noticed this board does weird things when you link threads, like taking you to the index instead. It is powered by coal.

well mine did anyhoo.
No. I have an AnalogMan-modded DMM, and it sounds great. But it was having major snap/crackle/pop issues when I first got it. I sorted through most of them by swapping around different cables (my DMM seems to be pretty sensitive to noisy cables). I'm still getting some pops, but I'm pretty sure it's related to one of the I/O jacks, not to any mods. The AnalogMan mods just added internal mini-trim pots for setting the impedance and gain.Mike wrote:I thought your DMM sounded like complete crap as a result of the mods done to it?
