I don't understand the hate they get, they're directly decended from the Lead 12 solid-state Combo I robbed to make my 1x10" cabinet. That amp was a great sounding thing.
In fact I should dig out the amp chassis and fix it up with a speaker jack.

I had to fix one for a friend one time and it was so shit. Actually, wait, it was the one with the 12ax7 on the circuit board. HAET.

Meh, I'm fairly indifferent to the MG. The AVT is too close to it price wise, ann from what I remember they're much better amps.
On saying that, that was about five or six years ago. I've not played any of the newer ones,

The big MG logo thing is awful, makes them look cheaper. I have an MG30DFX from like.. 6 years ago. Looks fine. Sounds pretty crap.

so you think that if something someone else comes up with for a product is shit, and you fire that person but you still make use of it, doesn't mean it's still a bad design in your eyes?
