i think it was the pam anderson and tommy lee video that brought me here.

anyway, i think it's cool that mike and hurb's vids have brought people into the fold.

It's true I had forgotten about watching numerous Gearwire videos. I remember now, watching their demos and going "why the fuck do they do the whole unwrapping out of the box bullshit?"

I dont need Gearwire to tell me where to place a stamp on a registration card.

The shortscale demos were no-nonsense all around good demos made by good honest people. I loved it.

Up hills both ways.

It was also raining kittens.
ah... the internet ran on steam back then. you could only go on it for 5 minutes a day and you had to stand up and sing the national anthem when it was finished.
Steam, bloody luxury steam was. in my day we had to boil water in a paper bag and use grit for for toothpaste!!

no 1 video in specific, but it was nice to see people doing more than playing white man blues with pussy settings on pedals that could do so much more.

shortscale demo's bring teh kurdtz settings in pretty much every demo, and all kinds of humorous brit slang

no video, despite my low post count, i've been here longer than those.

i was lured here while researching mustangs on wikipedia, and there was a link to here.
i read for a long time and then joined cause i loved the vibe.

i do love the demo videos though. i think my favorite is either mike's mojo cover video or aen's badtz maru bass video.

and i guess the informative ones are okay too. i guess.

yea, I also made my way here from researching on wikipedia. I think I was trying to find out what every pre-1980 guitar fender ever made was. and then I found out about all the shortscales. and then I was led here. I liked that this was the anything-but-strat fender forum.

Thanks buddy, much appreciated. The crap I got with my rubbish Stagg board is terrible 3M rubbish. When you pull the paper off the back it sometimes pulls the gluelayer off with it, the glue is THAT weak.
