I love that shit. Especially in cans, for some reason. I can't put my finger on what it is about Blue Ribbon that keeps me going for more. It's definitely not the price cause I have access to similarly cheap beer (Champs, Miluakee's best, Carling Ice) and it's definitely not because it tastes any better, either. I think it just takes a chilling better, if that makes any sense. Like it's more refreshing or some shit...

Zero Cool Rider
-------------------
2 x 12 pack pabst blue ribbon
or
2 x 12 pack Olympia
--------------------
thats exactly what i hand to people when we book gigs.
since neither is carried anywhere here in alberta
i only know of one liquor store where i can even buy pabst in alberta
i got hooked on it when i was in seattle
i guess the rest of the guys in my band used to drink blue, or molson or something
i dunno i just always have had a preference for cheap beer.
esp when playing a show. i want something i don't feel bad about knocking all over the stage
hell we'll even take pilsner or lucky if that is all they have.
haha

There's definitely something humbling about drinking really shit beer.
I find that that the lower down the ladder you go, the more important the the difference becomes, between the "types of drunk" you get.
for example, Craling Ice makes me violent. That's not my typical drunk disposition but this shit makes me surly and willing to act out, for some reason.
Lucky Lager makes me Barf. Again, not something that will ordinaraly happen to me due to drinking. Miluakee's best makes me maudlin. Not your normal, any old day drunk maudlin, either, More like the wandering off into the night, siging sad Tom Waits songs and waking up, covered with dew at 6pm, under some bridge kind.
Shit beer makes me act like people do in the trashy novels that I read.
