i reckon my silvertone1448, '83 fender bullet and the framus jag are going to be up for sale at some point soon. I can't let any fender shortscales go for various reasons.

Beautiful - love the colour and the binding. That is a hell of a buy.

Yes very nice indeed. like mickie said the one we played was a bit of a knacker so I couldnt get a good idea really of how it sounded. candy apple red is the hotest colour going I think.
give me a shout on the framus when you/if you decide to sell. I probably couldn't afford it but I have wanted one for a while.

Looks triffic! Would it be rude to ask how much you paid for it?

I've always wanted to compare these directly with a Hagstrom Viking. The couple of times I've tried a Coronado in a shop the pickups put me off, but I might just have been unlucky.

I suspect the funny marks on the back are from someone leaving it in the case with a coiled lead. Over time the finish reacts badly- saw it on a pelham Melody Maker a little while ago, and you know what happens to Jazzmasters with the rubber back-guard thing left on.

holy butt plug batman, that thing is amazing!
its got the turdz eye maple with blocks, binding and matching stock.
the binding looks great compared to some that i have seen.
and the stuff of the back looks like spiral cord rash. its when its left in the case too long with the cord. saw it once on a minty 62 jag, looks weird imo.

That thing is incredible. Really clean and those pickups are a work of art. A really, really great purchase.

Is it coming to Doogfest?

will do, i'd sell it for a good price if you wanted it, and could wait for cash til you had it if it meant keeping it amongst shortscalers.

it was a shade over a grand. not cheap, but i just couldn't let it go. i was quite happy to pay a wee bit more than i would have for an imported one in a standard colour, and i wanted something with a bigsby anyways, so pretty perfect for me.

i've still never played a viking, i assume the pickups are pretty similar to a hag II?

We have three of those among us now! We should start a splinter group. JK. Cheers! I love the Bigsby. I almost went that route.
