its not a bad pedal, its still got that boss sound tho.

plenty of people use that pedal and love it. but itd be bad for my purpose because its not TB.

boss pedals have come and gone in my rig, none of them has made me want to keep it in the long run. but i havent tried an HM-2, or a fuchsia delay.

yeah,
i actually did notice mike ness used one when i saw social distortion about a year ago.
i could actually replicate his sound exact, i have a p-90 equipped guitar, a boss overdrive and a 67 bassman, thats all he uses.
i wish i could offer up something, but if i would you i would check out what mike can do for you, or the thunder, its a pretty amazing pedal.

Yeah I bought it from Mike at Doogfest II (I think). The T Rex is a ridiculously good pedal. I still occasionally think about trading it for the Subdecay delay but thankfully the lack of secondhand availability of the Echobox means I've never had to think about the decision too seriously.
Mickie, all three of your pedals crossed the pond to end up living within about eight miles of each other; I've got your Chopper, and live just down the road from James.

In other news, the Trotsky in meant to be great (and isn't a TS clone) but is pretty low gain, I think. Big thumbs up for the Dano TOD from me, although again, it's a subtle beast.

Info on the TrotskyDrive, and a clip:

It's low gain and a bit spitty. Very simple circuit and cool of him to make it public. It's a very common circuit.

i have the OCD that mike built, and whilst it is a lovely pedal, for sheer versatility i think you should look at this one:

Image

it can do pretty much everything (except metal, thankfully) thanks to those 4 shaping knobs, from a growly boost to a buzzy fuzz type thing. my favourite pedal ever.

also, what about the gt 500? its a boost/od and disto in one, by fulltone.

thanks for the links, mike! it is indeed cool that he made the schematic public.
