I'm just putting this out there, but it seems like every one has a RED Bronco today.
Who am I kidding the color is hot.

It was the only and original color in '71 afaik.

I've always been all about the Black on Black, but I'm really happy with my red one. Though I never thought I'd own a red guitar. black on back is really hot for broncos, some reason. i think ist the only guitar ive ever liked best in black on black.
i take it back, kevin shields' b on b jaguar copy was sooo hot in the realise video. got damn.

Red, then black and white... where there ever other colour options available from Fender on the Broncos? Also, were there any maple fretboard Broncos made in the 70's?

I know that I've seen a natural bronco with a black guard and maple board before, but it could easily have been a replacement neck. I have never seen a maple fretboard Bronco. They were never officially offered. As far as red Bronco's go. It was the only color offered from '67-'75.

Fender marketing at the time. Leo came up with a new "student" guitar. It can be any color you want, as long as it is RED. You also got the red lettering on the Bronco amp as well.
