yeah, we're just a bit "Anti" when people get rid of Squier Logos and replace them with Fender ones. It's a queer form of Snobbishness, is that.

on that same thought, you ever noticed how the average epiphone user and abuser calls it a gibson becuz it says "Gibson" on the truss rod cover, that always bothered me, but oh well.
i would rather play an epiphone over a gibson any day.

the OG epi's are nice, but epi gibson copies tend to be poo, in my experience.

but yeah, its an epiphone, not a gibson. and its a squier, not a fender. be proud of your frugality.

God, that annoys me to, I hate it when a person says gibson instead of epiphone or fender instead of squier!

Aen: "Hi, craigslist? Yeah, um, every fucking guitar on you is being falsely advertised as being made by a more prestigous company than it actually is."

it makes it really frustrating when you are actually NOT looking for an epi or squier, but for a gibson or fender, as EVERY fucking epi on ebay is called "GIBSON EPIPHONE SG NOT VINTAGE NOT GIBSON NOT KURT COBAIN"

are people really fooled by this shit? am i more likely to buy something just because it came up in a virtually unrelated search?
