ROLF

That's hilarious, and pretty much the opposite of my experience. My guitar is brilliant and loved by all who have played it. It is the consummate Telecaster.

calm down, this is subjective. i didn't think it had the tele growl at the bridge. you may like it, i didn't.

This pickup is indeed the same as the one used on the Baja model. Do you think they purposely make worse ones and then give theme the same name to put in the Baja? There's no shame in it being used in a cheaper guitar, it's still a good pickup.

I'm assuming you have verified first hand that "Telecaster growl" exists within these $320 pickups. It would be a shame to spend all that money and be disappointed.

I agree but this is not the same as a Baja..The rear of the Baja Broadcaster has a copper induction plate..This pickup is from a usa custom shop classic telecaster and has the oval zinc induction plate on the back and formvar vintage cloth wire..So it is not the same as the Baja model which is made in mexico..
